c. 1870 Patek Philippe Antique Mens Midsize 42.5mm Hunter Case Pocket Watch - 18K Gold

Patek Philippe

Item No. 5774SH

The beautiful and important pocket watch showcased in today's offering is a fine example of one of Patek's early stem wound and stem set watches. It features a Patek caliber with wolf's tooth gearing and the numbers on the case match. It is fully original and in beautiful condition.

It appears to have spent much of life either used carefully or stored away with an appreciation for its value.

The porcelain dial is in mint original condition, the case is in better than excellent condition, and the movement is running true.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Please inquire if you would like a Patek extract for the watch.

Patek Philippe:
Patek Philippe is the finest watch manufacturer in the world and holds world records for the most expensive watches in the world.

During the 1860's and '70's, Patek Philippe produced only fewer than approximately twenty watches per day (contrast this with Omega and other fine watch manufacturers that produced 500 - 1,200 pieces per day) making original examples very rare and collectable.
