1968 Omega De Ville Vintage Mens Handwound Black Dial Watch with Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 8026

Today's offering showcases this perfectly restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage watches.

Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has a classic case and strong black dial.

Unlike most similar De Ville watches which normally have automatic movements, this one has their fine handwound caliber 613 movement, which allowed the watch to be thinner and lighter than their automatics.

Its monococque - or one-piece - Omega case, when new achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back.

It is fully Omega down to the original hands and winding crown and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. The case presents as mint with light signs of having been polished, and the dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has overhauled the movement. It is keeping very accurate time.

We have also equipped it with a new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A half century old Omega that presents like new on the wrist!
