1952 Rolex Mens Vintage "Shock Resisting" Oyster Watch, Stainless Steel - Classic & Rare Design

Rolex

Item No. 6501

One of the more seldom seen classic vintage Rolex watches is the Oyster Precision as Rolex made most watches of this style with a date.

It features a much thinner profile than the Perpetual models due to its hand-wound movement, and its understated and very classic design contrast the "busier" look of some of the modern Rolex watches. It's a watch that is perfectly at home being worn everyday or only for special occasions.

Today's offering showcases this Certified Pre-Owned early vintage ref. 6082 "Shock Resisting" Rolex Oyster. Rolex was a fairly early adopter of using shock protection in their movements, and the 6082 was an early model with it, as the dial proclaims.

It is original down to the dial and all hands and fully Rolex down to the Twinlock crown. The dial is untouched and warmed to a sepia tone, giving it a true vintage patina and look. And the case lugs are still nice and fairly full..

Its original handwound movement is running strong and true. One of our watchmakers has just fully disassembled the movement down to its last screw and freshly cleaned and oiled it.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Classier and scarcer than most Rolex Oysters.
