1950's Ulysse Nardin Vintage Mens Full Size Watch - 18K Gold

Ulysse Nardin

Item No. 7442

Today's offering showcases this full size and classic mens Ulysse Nardin in 18K gold. Our photos couldn't begin to do it justice!

At 35mm in diameter not including the crown by 42mm long, this big beauty fills out the wrist in a way most dress watches from the era don't. And its oversized dial makes it wear even larger.

It is in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust. It has an elegantly shaped case and crisp white "Explorer" style dial with numerals for the primary 3,6,9 and 12 hours.

Powering it is its original well-made Ulysse Nardin handwound movement.

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It is fully UN. The case presents as mint. The dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as UN factory done to the naked eye.

A Master Watchmaker has fully serviced its movement, which is near pristine! We have timed it in five chronometer positions, and it continues to keep very accurate time. Photos of the inside available upon request.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A classic six decade old Ulysse Nardin that presents on the wrist almost like new!

Ulysse Nardin:
Ulysse Nardin is best known by many collectors for creating chronometers, extremely accurate time keeping instruments. Their marine chronometer used by ship's captains to plot and follow the correct course while at sea. By employing sextants and chronometers, a captain could track the changes in his course over time and determine the exact location of his ship, and Nardin's marine chronometers were among the most reliable and sought after.
